The 36th Annual “Swing Into Spring” (SIS) Senior Charity Tennis Tournament was a great success. The Tournament started on Wednesday, March 20th and concluded on Sunday, March 24th, 2024. With 124 players, 123 Matches, 267 Sets and an unbelievable 2,064 games of Tennis were played.

A huge thanks goes out to Statz Insurance Agency for being the major presenter for a second straight year. Additional generous business sponsors included Ray’s Rackets, John Braden Edward Jones, Saini Smiles Dentistry and Gayla & Ron Brown Hague Partners/72 Sold Real Estate.

An even bigger thanks, goes out to all the club members who played and volunteered. There were many, and you know who you are. The event could not happen without “YOU”! The Tournament was able to provide donations to both Sun City West Posse, Sun City West Prides and PASS. Exact dollar amounts are still being finalized.  A special thanks goes out to Tournament Director, Jolene Piaskowski, and Match Director George Orchard. They both are very good at “herding cats”.
